A Custom WordPress Based CMS Solution
Advance Colleges Trust Launches New Website by Feel Created
Advance Colleges Trust (ACT) has launched a new website, designed and built by specialist WordPress developer, Feel Created, with web copywriting by Feel Marketed.
The modern, responsive site promotes ACT as a whole while acting as a springboard to access information about trust members, Franklin Sixth Form College in Grimsby, John Leggott College in Scunthorpe and Wilberforce Sixth Form College in Hull.
The advanced search functionality implemented by Feel Created is central to the website, which directs staff and students to specialist digital learning resources.
ACT provides comprehensive sixth form education and training for over 5,000 students across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and internationally. Students from all three colleges will now benefit from a streamlined user experience supporting online learning.
"Working with ACT has been a very smooth process. We’re delighted with the results of our collaboration, which encapsulates everything we set out to achieve in our initial planning sessions. ACT staff and students now have access to online learning at their fingertips."
"Feel Created has brought our vision to life by listening to our requirements and feedback. And by offering additional services such as copywriting, they’ve eased the burden on our team. Our students are now fully supported online to achieve their maximum potential. Importantly, the content management system (CMS) is very easy to update, to retain relevance for future ACT cohorts."
Feel Created and Feel Marketed (a division of Feel Created) worked closely together to write copy and feed it into the live development site. Following brief initial discovery meetings, review and sign off were the only items required from the ACT team, saving team members hours of copywriting time.
Ian continues, “Often copywriting is not a primary consideration in clients’ web design and development briefs. But by including it in the project from the start, ACT has benefitted from specialist search engine optimised copy while saving staff a huge amount of time.”
