Feel Created appointed by the University of Liverpool to develop Prosper Portal

Specialist WordPress agency, Feel Created (Feel), has been appointed by the University of Liverpool (UoL) to collaborate on the development of the Prosper Portal – an innovative online platform led by the UoL in partnership with Lancaster University and the University of Manchester and funded by the Research England RED fund.

The enterprise WordPress web design and build will manage the output of Prosper, a new approach to postdoc career development that aims to unlock postdocs’ potential to thrive across multiple career pathways.

Dr. James Howard, Project Director at Prosper and Director of the UoL Development Academy, said:

The Prosper Portal will be an advanced, interactive tool, freely accessible to postdocs, Principle Investigators, and Higher Education institutions across the UK; one that supports postdocs at every step of their career development journey, from self-reflection through to practical job application skills. An enhanced user experience is central to our vision for the portal, and will be directly shaped by our Principal Investigator and Research Staff and Organisational Developer community."

The ground-breaking WordPress-based portal will house a comprehensive set of written and video resources cocreated working with employers, postdocs and principal investigators. The portal, designed and built by Feel Created, will be based on a prototype developed by the Prosper team.

Postdoc resources will be based around the three interlinking themes of ‘Reflect, Explore and Act’, providing postdocs with advanced search and personalised journey mapping functionality.
