Wakefield-based agency invests in local digital talent
Digital agency and specialist WordPress developer, Feel Created, has announced it will invest in local digital talent to support agency growth.
The agency launched Feel Marketed, a specialist marketing division, twelve months ago to support the success of its web launches. Fast forward one year, Feel Marketed will appoint its first digital marketing apprentice, Amy Lawrence.
Yorkshire's digital industry is the fastest growing in the UK, with Yorkshire tech hiring increasing by 49% since July last year. Amy will join the team from UK tech and digital provider, Baltic Apprenticeships, supporting the Feel team while working towards her Digital Marketer level 3 apprenticeship.
"We're a small team of specialists, which is a USP for our clients – they only work directly with experts. However, demand for our expertise has seen our workload increase substantially in 2022. It's a nice problem to have! But we now need to grow in a way that's sustainable for our business model and our clients."
"It was important to bring the right person into the mix, and it's the perfect situation with Amy. We're investing in local Wakefield talent while training her to our agency’s exacting standards. Amy can apply her learnings directly to her course, and we’re sure she’ll fit in very well with the team."
Feel Marketed is a growing division of the Feel Created Business and has been involved in marketing projects for clients as diverse as the internationally renowned University of Liverpool to respected local recruitment consultancy, Juice Personnel.
Ian added: “We’re seeing a high standard from apprenticeship agencies in their training provision – particularly in specialist areas such as web development. It’s fantastic to see realistic routes emerging for local talent entering the thriving Yorkshire digital sector, and we look forward to welcoming more apprentices as we continue to grow.”
