Cyber Essentials Certification Renewed for WordPress Website Specialist
Yorkshire-based custom WordPress website agency, Feel Created, has retained Cyber Essentials certification for another year (2023-24).
Participation in the government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme reflects the agency's commitment to reducing the risk of cyber threats and maintaining website and data security.
Over a third of UK businesses identify a cyber attack on an annual basis, according to the latest government Cyber Security Breaches Survey data.
Founder and creative director, Ian Long, said:
"No one can guarantee 100% security, but Cyber Essentials certification ensures we align with National Cyber Security Centre (CSC) standards. It gives us peace of mind to protect ourselves against most common cyber attacks."
To achieve certification, a Cyber Essentials self-assessment questionnaire relating to the five security controls of secure configuration, firewalls, user access controls, security update management and malware protection must be completed.
Certification is awarded by the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME) Consortium accreditation body. A Cyber Essentials certificate is valid for 12 months from the issue date. Feel Created is committed to renewing certification annually.
Ian continued:
"Certification demonstrates that we're compliant with the Cyber Essentials requirements and, therefore, knowledgeable on CSC standards. It gives our clients confidence that we take cyber security seriously – which in our line of business is essential."
